This is a basic camera that doesn’t hold your hand but delivers images based on your own skill.
How is the build quality of the Seagull 4A-109?
The build quality alone far exceeds the Seagull’s new 4A-109; and this is a camera that was built in 1951. Feels solid, yet light, and sounds and feels like everything works as they should, except for the scratched-up mirror that is screaming for a replacement. How does The Seagull 4A compare to the Yashica Mat 124G?
The viewfinder on the Seagull 4A is clearly brighter than the viewfinder on the Yashica Mat 124G that I use in the past. It is brighter, easier to focus with and the image in the viewfinder just seems to be crisper. The viewfinder in the Seagull makes focusing on the TLR camera much easier than the Yashica Mat 124G camera.
